ORGANIK, a collaborative electronic music event, plans to feature some of the best local live acts and dj’s set in a backdrop like no other; expect an exceptional evening at an exceptional venue.
The event, to be held at The Greenhouse Bar, Tynemouth Park, promises to showcase some of the coolest house, laid-back tech beats, acid / old school dance music, and sublime, uplifting drum and bass from both dj’s and live performers.
Starting at 7pm on 28th October 22, local acts, Flashjak, the.CHAIN, Chop5, and M Data will create a relaxed, unique vibe ideal for a post-week Friday night wind down; expect an atmosphere that contains energetic, funky, classic, cross-genre electronica, albeit with a desire to cool down the pace and maintain a varied selection, suitable for all dance music tastes.
Flashjak is a local Drum and Bass producer and DJ, his career spanning almost 2 decades consisting of many styles under various guises; he will be bringing his unmatched skills to the table, providing a selection of D&B comprising popular dancefloor hits, through old school to more modern classics from the genre.
the.CHAIN currently sits amongst the cream of the NE house music scene; locally based, he is known for his innate knowledge of the genre and ability to shape his sound like no other. Recently he has played to crowds at Barca, Baba Yagas, The Basement, World Headquarters, and The Telegraph; expect an engaging journey through deep, funky, progressive house heaven.
Chop5, a local live electronic performer / producer, is known for his unique blend of house, tech house and classic techno, all smoothly delivered through his unmistakable trademark sound. Single releases and projects have received acclaim from all corners of the globe, and have seen him perform live at The O2 Newcastle, Ouseburn, Engine Rooms and successive Northern Electric Festivals.
M Data is a local live artist and producer, with a string of both vinyl and digital releases spanning many years; currently involved in his live shows and monthly radio broadcast on Slacks, he plans to showcase an exclusive new live project at the event. News of the event has sparked huge interest amongst the NE scene; expect a modern take on early 90s dance / house music like no other.
