We visited here on a sunny August afternoon and were very impressed. The mini golf was great fun (watch the water!) and the park had other features such as a great cafe for ice cream and a pond for boating, etc. Would recommend this for a cheap afternoon out in the North East with the family.
We recently enjoyed another trip to Tynemouth park. You can certainly have a relaxing time here with the pedalos and the crazy golf, complete with a café for those well earned refreshments!
The park has a few features like the large pond (cant call this a lake) full of ducks and seagulls, a play area with bouncy castle and mini golf. I have been many times around as i am local, but I never been before in the mini golf and we give a go to 18 holes. We have good fun and a bit of competition, it is very nice in a sunny day.
The mini golf feature a dinosaurs world and for £3/4 per child/adult you can play the 18 holes tour. If it is not busy and you are not pushed by other people playing behind it is a relaxing fun.
We went and played crazy golf at the lost world golf course here it was very fun and it would suit every age really.
I must say this place was an excellent find. The jungle run slide place was only £3.50 for unlimited playtime for my daughter an she could have run herself ragged in there. The staff are helpful, toilets were clean, reasonable cafe prices, mini golf with dino theme, pond with peddlows, big play park, Excellent place to visit. We will be back!
Great day out. Treasure hunt in a maze. Dinosaur crazy golf. Outdoor soft play. Pedalos and rowing boats in the lake. Also a cafe. Lots to do all in one place.
Crazy golf course full of dinosaurs, bounce park £3.50 for all day, cafe which serves beautiful home cooked food and a very nice chippy, a boating lake and bowls….All in one very well kept park. But the best a Pirate Maze which we will revisit many times, this all coupled with a warm Geordie welcome becomes a wonderful day out!
Jungle adventure great value at just £3.50 – dinosaur crazy golf and food and drink available too. Happy kids = happy parents
It is a great park for younger people but I think it could be adapted more to have one section which it is now but another older part to the park and more adventurous look too it!
Amazing park with a small boating lake, great adventure park with massive inflatable slides, never used the mini gold but looks really good. All very cheap 3.50 per child and they come and go all day on the slides.
Mini golf, pirate maze, bouncy castles loads of things to keep the kids entertained during holidays. Also has a nice café for you while you wait for them.
Great little park, crazy golf, bouncey castles, ducks to fees and a park to run around. Also has a lovely cafe that does a good Sunday dinner if you’ve forgotten the pack up.
Lots for the children to do and is a small enough park and not to big. There is a cafe and crazy golf along with a large pond. There are nice views out to sea as well.
Great fun on the mini golf course, just the place to visit on a sunny day. Lots to keep the kids amused and let mums and dads relax.
Tynemouth park is a regular with myself and my two boys age 4 and 6. All the activities are situated across the road for the beach and surrounded by well maintained gardens. There is a boating lake, a play park, a grazy golf, inflatables a pirate Maze and the obligatory coffee shop and ice cream vendor. The inflatables are particularly good value as the children get a stamp on their hands which entitles the to unlimited play so you can come and go throughout the day.
