Went during the weekend with my partner, it was a fairly nice day so we expected it to be busy. This was a little bit mad though! The waiting time for each hole was up to ten minutes, children were running around and would get in the way when it was your turn on that hole.
The park should consider waiting for the queues to go down before allowing more people to be waiting around at each hole! The theme was nice, perhaps could do with some touch ups. The price was good, especially if you’re in a large group. Not sure i’d go back.
This cafe is set inside a lovely park with a boating lake and also a minature golf course, there is also tennis courts. The food in the cafe is suitable for all well cooked and served with a smile
I think it is easy to overlook this park which is hidden away from the stunning coastline and busy Tynemouth main street. The park offers an excellent children’s play area, a beautiful herb garden, a little cafe and many a stroll route.
How lovely is Tynemouth and in particular this park. We only used the Boating Lake but it was great fun and our young son loved the pedalo once we coaxed him on it. The young lads who worked there were kind and helpful. This is just a great park for children and a pretty place to visit.
